DMCA & Copyright Policy

MiniMagic respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our users to do the same. We respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA"), 17 U.S.C. Section 512.

1. Content Filtering

MiniMagic employs automated content filtering systems that attempt to prevent the generation of content that infringes known copyrighted characters and trademarks. These filters block known character names, franchise references, and other identifiable intellectual property from being used in generation prompts.

However, no automated system is perfect. If you believe copyrighted material has been generated on our platform, please follow the takedown procedure below.

2. Reporting Copyright Infringement

If you believe that content on MiniMagic infringes your copyright, please submit a written notification containing the following information (as required by 17 U.S.C. Section 512(c)(3)):

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed
  3. Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing and information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate it
  4. Your contact information: name, address, telephone number, and email address
  5. A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
  6. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the above information is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf

Please send all DMCA takedown notices to the email address above. We aim to respond to valid takedown notices within 48 hours.

4. Counter-Notification

If you believe your content was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification containing:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature
  2. Identification of the material that was removed and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification
  4. Your name, address, telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located, and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original takedown notification

Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, we will forward it to the original complainant. If the complainant does not file a court action within 10 business days, we may restore the removed material.

5. Repeat Infringer Policy

MiniMagic will terminate the accounts of users who are repeat copyright infringers, in appropriate circumstances and at our sole discretion. If you receive multiple valid DMCA takedown notices, your account may be suspended or permanently terminated.

6. User Responsibility

Users are solely responsible for ensuring that their use of generated content does not infringe third-party copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights. While our automated filters attempt to prevent the generation of known copyrighted characters, users should not attempt to circumvent these filters or intentionally generate content that infringes others' rights.
